Join us for a one of a kind exploratory art class at Performance Studios this fall!  We will build on your young ones creative sense through process driven projects in mediums such as drawing, painting and sculpture.  Each class will start with free art, during which students will be provided with an array of materials to allow them to warm up their artistic minds.  Then we will work on projects that will touch on concepts such as color, design, depth and art history.   This combination of self and guided projects allows each young artist to develop their individual style through a confidence-building approach.

About The Instructor

Erin Sweeney Rossell

Art has been a part of Erin’s life since she was a little girl.  Growing up she spent her weekends taking young artist classes at Moore College of Art and Design and Tyler School of Art at Temple University.  Later, she double majored in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island, but she never lost her passion for all things creative.  Drawing, photography and print making are a few of her favorite mediums, but any DIY project found off Pinterest is also a favorite of Erin’s.  Having worked in both public and private schools, as an in home therapist, and an early intervention specialists, she is now combing her love of working with children and art by teaching at Performance Studios this fall.
